Dallas Resident Builds Southwest Inspired Flight Simulator in his Garage

Kevin Sayre reached out to Southwest Airlines to share his DIY flight sim and Southwest surprised him with a tour and ride in their state-of-the-art simulator bay 

Kevin Sayre is a real estate agent in Dallas and when at home, he can often be found in his garage where he has spent the last few decades building a 737-flight simulator. Kevin reached out to Southwest Airlines in December to share photos of his work and to invite the Team to see what he'd built. In turn, the Company invited him for a tour of the Southwest Airlines simulator bay where he visited with a Southwest Airlines Flight Instructor before embarking on his ride in a Southwest simulator.  

It is a true joy to see aviation enthusiasts share their stories, especially when they include Southwest Airlines.
