Southwest Offers $39 Fares Within California

For $39 each way, based on roundtrip purchase, travelers can fly on scheduled service within California. That is not all, however. Travelers also can pay low $39 each-way fares, based on roundtrip purchase, for scheduled service between Los Angeles, Burbank, Ontario, or San Diego, and Phoenix or Las Vegas.

"Once again, Southwest Airlines is offering convenient service at a low cost," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest's vice president of marketing. "There is nothing more fun than flying to see family and friends affordably."

These fares are available for travel through December 17, 1998. Roundtrip travel and a one-night stayover are required. Tickets must be purchased within one day of making a reservation and at least seven days before departure. While tickets are nonrefundable, they may, if unused, be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Seats are limited and will not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times such as the Labor Day and Thanksgiving holidays.

Fares do not include airport-assessed taxes of up to $12 roundtrip.
