Vice President Supply Chain Management

Stacy Malphurs is responsible for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function for Southwest Airlines. As the Leader of SCM, she oversees strategic sourcing, contracting, procurement, and inventory management activities for Southwest's supply and service needs, with a focus on cost control, reliability, risk management, and continuous improvement.

In July 2011, Stacy started her career at Southwest in Tech Ops as Senior Manager, Strategic Planning, where she focused on analytics, planning, and project portfolio management. From there, she moved to Supply Chain Management as Director, and then Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations, where she led analytics, the supply chain COE, and the supplier diversity program. Prior to Southwest, she worked in management consulting, where she was an Engagement Manager in Oliver Wyman's aviation practice. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southern Methodist University.

Stacy and her husband, Mike, are proud parents to Elliot and Sophie. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid traveler having been to over 45 countries around the globe.
