TITLE: Vice President Business Transformation Solutions—Operations & Enterprise Management
JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Leader within our Enterprise Delivery Department, Sherry is responsible for leading engagement efforts with our Operations and Enterprise Management Customers in shaping their project roadmaps and priorities to ensure Southwest consistently delivers Business value.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining Southwest, Sherry served as Vice President, Corporate Solutions, JCPenney, in Plano, Texas. In that role, she was responsible for the Finance, Procurement, Tax, Legal, Communications, Workforce Management, and Human Resource solutions, as well as Business Intelligence across the company. While at JCPenney, she also served as IT DVP, Corporate Solutions; Senior IT Director, Corporate Solutions; Director of IT Supplier Management & Associate and Finance Systems. At Hewlett Packard / Electronic Data Systems, Sherry led the application integration in over 70 countries as part of the HP acquisition of EDS while eliminating over 700 systems. In addition, she held the position of Director, Application Services Development, as part of the EDS transformation efforts. Sherry was instrumental in laying the foundation for Company-wide financial and corporate systems at PepsiCo, Inc., where she served in various Leadership roles, including Director of Finance, Purchasing, and Corporate Systems. Throughout her career, Sherry has successfully implemented quality solutions, working in close partnership with her Business counterparts.
LENGTH OF SERVICE: Started October 2013
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Business Administration at Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas, and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, Dallas, Texas. Sherry is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
FAMILY: Sherry is married to Paul and they have daughter named Megan.
