Landon provides Leadership and innovation to all pillars of our Technical Operations Department. He serves as the compass for Tech Ops and sets the tone for all members of the Tech Ops Team. Supporting the Maintenance, Strategy and Planning, and Engineering Teams is the highlight of his work at Southwest as it helps to ensure we deliver safe, compliant, and aircraft.

Landon joined Southwest in 2011 as Sr. Director of Maintenance and later served as Vice President of Maintenance Operations before moving into the Senior Vice President role. Prior to Southwest, Landon's airline career included the positions of Vice President of Operations at Aviation Technical Services and Managing Director of Line Maintenance at Northwest/Delta Airlines. He started his maintenance career in 1992 as an Aviation Maintenance Technician for Northwest/Delta.

After earning a degree in Airline Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Landon went on to earn a second degree in Business Administration. He also has an A&P license from Dakota Aerotech.

Landon and his wife Staci have two sons, Logan and Lawson. In his spare time, Landon likes outdoor activities such as ATVs, hunting, camping, and fishing, as well as detailing and fixing vehicles.
