Southwest Airlines® (NYSE: LUV) today published an initial flight schedule for new, daily nonstop service between Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport and Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica, facilitating connecting service between 17 additional cities in the U.S. and the carrier's first destination in Central America, subject the approval of the government of Costa Rica.

Beginning Mar. 7, 2015, Southwest Airlines will operate daily, nonstop flights between:

On July 1, 2014, Southwest launched international service to three Caribbean destinations and by the end of this year, the carrier will fly between the U.S. and eight international destinations in five countries.   The first-ever nonstop service between Baltimore/Washington and San Jose, Costa Rica will bring onto the Southwest route map a sixth country outside the U.S., and 94th destination where Customers are offered Southwest's Legendary Customer Service and Low Fares.
