Change Itinerary
Step-by-Step Instructions
If you have an existing Southwest Airlines Ticketless Reservation that was purchased on southwest.com, you can retrieve it and change your itinerary using the Change Itinerary feature.
| 1. Access the "Change Itinerary" Feature |
- From the southwest.com home page, click on "Travel Center"
- From the Travel Center, click on "Change Air Reservation"
| 2. Enter Flight Reservation and Passenger Information |
- After you click on the "Change Air Reservation" button, you will see the following form:
- Enter the confirmation number for the reservation you want to change.
- Enter the passenger first and last name.
- Click on the "Retrieve Flight Reservation" button.
| 3. Select the Itinerary you want to change. |
- After you click on the "Retrieve Flight Reservation" button, you will see the following information:
- Select the itinerary you want to change by placing a check in the appropriate box in the "Change?" column.
- Things you need to know prior to changing your itinerary:
- Changes will apply to all passengers in the reservation.
- Changing your itinerary may result in a higher fare.
- You may be required to pay a higher fare on all segments in your itinerary even if you only made changes to one segment.
- Any changes you make will apply to all Passengers in your itinerary.
- Changing your itinerary is subject to availability at the time of change.
- Some flights and fares that were available when you booked your original itinerary may no longer be available.
- When you are satisfied with your selections, click on the "Change Selected Trips" button.
