To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Southwest Airlines unveils Lone Star One, an aircraft that pays tribute to the state of Texas. The plane was introduced on November 7, 1990.

On May 23, 1988, Southwest Airlines and Sea World of Texas in San Antonio introduced Shamu One, an aircraft painted like a killer whale. Now there are three of these planes.
